James Electric company was founded in 1945 by James Spezzano, in Los Angeles, CA as a company that was dedicated to service with out compromise.
In 1947 James brother Joe joined the company as a partner. Together they built the company based on quality of work and service. They built the company into one of the predominate electrical contractors in the Los Angeles area. Their first major project was the See's Candy Plant in Los Angeles. Jim's son John joined the company full time in 1964 after completing college with a degree in electrical engineering and serving in the US Navy. Joe retired in 1970 and Jim died in 1973. At that time the company was sold. John bought the company back in 2003 and relocated it from Los Angeles to Yreka, CA.
They have served major companies such as Southern California Edison, Security Pacific Bank (Bank of America). A. F. Gilmore Company, Farmers Market, Thrifty Mart Markets, Kern Oil Co, Longo Toyota, Felix Chevrolet W. C. Beggs Construction, Oltmans Construction, Los Angeles County, US Navy, Army Corp of Engineers, etc.
